Betty J. "Bett" Evans Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Mrs. Betty J. "Bett" Evans, 74, of Pageland, SC passed away on May 4, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Evans was born on July 21, 1947 in Monroe, North Carolina to the late Reece Funderburk and Verla Mullis Funderburk. Mrs. Evans was a member of Grace Baptist Church. Her favorite scripture was Philippians 1:21 For me to live is Christ and to die is to gain. Mrs. Evans was a mother to all and always put others first. She enjoyed her beautiful flowers and loved her fur babies. She is predeceased by her brother, James Funderburk and sister, Sara Courtney. Mrs. Evans is survived by her loving husband, of 53 years, Jessie Evans of Pageland, SC brothers, Mike Funderburk (Doris) of Monroe, NC and Bill Funderburk (Linda) of Pageland, SC; sister-in-law, Marietta Adcock of Pageland, SC; numerous nieces and nephews, numerous great nieces and nephews and, fur baby Bella. Anyone can come by Baumgartner Funeral Home from 12:00 PM-4:00 PM on Friday, May 6, 2022 to pay their respects and to sign the register book. A Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at Greenlawn Memorial Park of Pageland, 2584 Highway 601 North, Pageland, SC 29728 with Rev. Tony Funderburk officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Regency Southern Care Hospice, Attn: Grace Hospice Foundation, 205 East Main Street, Chesterfield, SC 29709 or Hospice of Chesterfield Co.
