Homer Rayvaughn Tadlock Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Mr. Homer Rayvaughn Tadlock, 83, of Pageland, SC passed away on Sunday, March 27, 2022 while surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Homer R. Tadlock was born on October 13, 1938 in Pageland, SC to the late Lee John Tadlock and Lois Mills Tadlock. He is preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine Mullis Tadlock; sister, Corliss Loyd; brothers, LJ Tadlock Jr., Bruce Tadlock and Jack Tadlock and grandchildren, Blake Tadlock, Andrew Martinez and Ariana Martinez. Mr. Tadlock enjoyed driving around town and visiting with people and watching squirrels from his squirrel box in his yard. He also attended Friday Morning Men's Prayer Breakfast when he was able to. He was a member of Mt Pisgah Baptist Church for over 40 years. Mr. Tadlock is survived by his sons, Jason Lee Tadlock of Pageland, SC and Mark Tadlock (Sondra) of Jefferson, SC; daughters, Rhonda Kay Plyler of Pageland, SC, Tracy Delaine Martinez (Jose Luis) of Monroe, NC, Martina Diane Tadlock of Pageland, SC and Rhonda Tadlock Martinez of Pageland, SC; thirteen grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends from 1:00 - 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 2, 2022 at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on April 2, 2022 at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church with Pastor Joey Rowell and Pastor Johnny Tadlock officiating. The burial will follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, C/O Building Fund, 3530 Highway 601 North, Pageland, SC 29728. The Tadlock Family would like to express their greatest appreciation to his caregiver, Christie Parker as she also became a member of the family.
