Naomi Wallace

March 25, 1944 - May 8, 2022

Mrs. Naomi Rice Wallace,78, of Pageland, SC passed away on Sunday, May 8, 2022 at her home. Mrs. Wallace was born on March 25, 1944 in Barbourville, Kentucky to the late Arthur Thomas Carter and Claramae Rickette Carter. She enjoyed spending time with her family. Naomi liked to play all kinds of card games with her family, work on crossword puzzles and play Bingo. Naomi was a kind hearted, well-loved and known woman who loved her Jesus. Feeding people brought her great joy and warmed her soul. Naomi enjoyed getting pedicures and liked to dance and sing Gospel Music. She is preceded in death by her son, Jimmy Ray Rice Jr.; grandson, Wildstar Rice, Tre Maldovan; granddaughters, Angel Marie Maldovan and Delfina Lynne Wilcox; great granddaughter, Josephina Palacios; brothers, Doul, Buelin, Harvey and Doyle and sisters, Syvila, Idela, Euline and Inita. Mrs. Wallace is survived by her husband, Glynn Wallace of Pageland, SC; daughter, Diana Lynne Wilcox of Pageland, SC; grandchildren, Kaitlynn and Tanner Hand, Clara May Rice and Carlos Torres, April Lynne and Juan Palacios, Johnny Michael Maldovan III, Lacie Naomi Maldovan, Steven Wayne and Summer Wilcox and Phillip Jahn; great grandchildren, Angel, Cristina, Alicia, Miriam, Giovanni, David, Elizabeth, Aiden, Cameron, Marley Jo, Harley Rose, Jonathan "JW", Michael and Ashton and many nieces and nephews. There will be a Celebration of Life Graveside Service on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Greenlawn Memorial Park of Pageland with Pastor Patricia Huntley officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Central United Methodist Church, C/O Food Pantry, 801 South Hayne Street, Monroe, NC 28112. Baumgartner Funeral Home of Pageland, South Carolina (www.baumgartnerfh.com) is assisting the Wallace family.
