Oleen Davis Smothers, 76, died Sunday, May 16, 2010. She was an active member of Smyrna Baptist Church for 45 + years. She was a talented seamstress, avid reader and loved spending time with her family and friends. She was raised in Pageland and preceded in death by her parents; Bundy and Ina Morree Arant, siblings; William B. (Rosalyn) Arant, Emory Arant, both of Pageland and a grandson, Lee John Tadlock of Pageland. She is survived by a brother; Charles (Estelle) Arant of Pageland, a sister-in-law, Shirley Arant of San Antonio, Texas, children; Eddie (Wanda) Davis of Pageland, Sue (Rod) Campbell of Chesterfield, grandchildren; William Tadlock of Pageland, Liberti Gardner of Ruby and Heather Davis of Pageland, great grandchildren; Madison Gardner, Alexus Smith, Leah Gardner and Leejon Tadlock. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 18, 2010 from 6 -8 pm at the funeral home with the funeral service on Wednesday at 11:00 am at Smyrna Baptist Church with burial following at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
