Robert Maurice Jordan, Jr.

June 24, 1961 - January 26, 2017

Mr. Robert Maurice Jordan Jr., 55, of Pageland, South Carolina went to be with his Lord on Thursday, January 26, 2017 in Monroe, North Carolina. Robby was born on June 24, 1961 in Monroe, North Carolina to Margie Quay Mills Jordan and the Late Robert M. Jordan. Robby grew up in the Pageland Community working for his family's business, Pageland Oil Company, Inc. where he was in charge of commercial development. He also handled all the maintenance and working hand and hand with his customers who he enjoyed seeing. Robby was a Shriner and was also a former volunteer fireman with the Pageland Fire Department and worked with Pageland Rescue Squad. In his free time Robby enjoyed hunting, fishing and also collecting arrowheads. He was also a member of Providence Baptist Church for many years. In addition to his father, Robby is preceded in death by his sister, Janet Elaine Jordan. Those left to celebrate and remember his life include his loving son, Robert Seth Jordan of Charlotte, NC, mother, Quay Mills Jordan of Columbia, SC, sister, Beth Jordan McCorkle (Phillip) of Columbia, SC, nephew, Joseph "Joey" Phillip McCorkle Jr. of Columbia, SC, niece, Kelly Elizabeth McCorkle of Columbia, SC and mother of Seth Jordan, Tracy Jordan Anderson of Charlotte, NC. A Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, January 29, 2017 at Providence Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Mack Mullis officiating. The family will receive friends following the service from 2:30 - 3:30 PM in the Providence Baptist Church Family Life Center, 232 Providence Church Rd., Pageland, SC 29728.
