Vera Wallace Price Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Vera Elizabeth Wallace Price, age 79, of Pageland, South Carolina, went to be with the Lord on December 29, 2009. She was born on March 24, 1930 to the late Jack and Louvenia Wallace of Pageland, the baby of ten children. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and a devoted friend. She was an avid reader and loved to garden. Mrs. Price was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, JC Price, and eight of her siblings: Louise Wallace Helms, David Wallace, J.D. Wallace, Eugene Wallace, Jethro Wallace, Raymond Wallace, Carl Wallace, and Lester Wallace. She is survived by her daughter, Dr. Wanda Jayne Price Roberts (Melvin), her sons Reid Allen Price and Christopher Shane Price; granddaughters Heather Roberts Mitchell, Heidi Roberts Perkins and Natalie Roberts Hardy; great grandchildren Zack Perkins, Jaynie Mitchell, Zeke hardy and Elise Mitchell; and her sister Eileen Wallace Steadman. Memorial Services will be conducted at High Point Baptist Church at 10:00 AM on Thursday, December 31, 2009 with the Reverend Ed Griggs. Officiating. The family will receive family and friends from 9:00-10:00 AM prior to the service. She will be interred with her husband at Greenlawn Memorial Park and Mausoleum in Pageland, South Carolina.
