Aaron spent a large part of his adulthood on the West Coast, in California and Oregon. Most recently he lived in Oregon and Florida.

Born April 26, 1943, Aaron was predeceased by his infant son, Jeffery W. Johnson (4/17/1960), wives, Shelby Jean Rollins Johnson, of Jefferson, SC; Carol Jean Hancock, of Long Beach, CA; and Ann Haberman of Vacaville, CA. He is survived by his daughter, Lisa Michelle Johnson of Los Angeles, CA and granddaughter, Alyssa Jean Garzon; brothers, T. Aaron grew up on the small SC farm passed down from paternal grandfather, Thomas Alexander Johnson, and then his parents. He spent many years running his auto dealerships in California. In retirement, he enjoyed golfing and fishing near his homes in Punta Gorda, FL, and Sunriver, OR. Then, for the past seven years, he relished looking at the lake from his lakeside home near Tampa, FL, and the river from his riverside home near Bend, OR, with his beloved companion, Emily Bleck.
