Mr. Archie Robinson Yarbrough, 86, of Jefferson, SC went to be with his Lord on Thursday, July 27, 2017 while surrounded by his loving family. Archie was born on November 6, 1930 in Waxhaw, North Carolina to the late Samuel Robinson Yarbrough and Ida Price Yarbrough. He later met and united in marriage to Mrs. Muriel Byrum Yarbrough. Archie enjoyed spending time in the outdoors; one of his biggest passions was farming in which he made a successful career out of doing. In addition to his parents, Archie is preceded in death by a brother, Bill Yarbrough and a sister, Verline Glenn. Those left to celebrate and remember his life include his loving wife, Muriel Byrum Yarbrough of Jefferson, South Carolina, son, Randy Mitchell Yarbrough of Jefferson, South Carolina, daughters, Lynn Yarbrough Cauthen (Terry) and Carol Yarbrough Walden (Michael) both of Monroe, North Carolina, sister, Shirley Carter of Waxhaw, North Carolina, seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Sunday, July 30, 2017 at Fork Creek United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall on 643 Sandhill VFD Rd, Jefferson, South Carolina. A Private Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
