Mr. Arthur "Jerry" Jerome Anderson, 76, of Marshville, North Carolina passed away on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at his home. Jerry was born on July 30, 1941 in Richland County, South Carolina to the late Arthur Anderson and Ruth Mills Anderson. Jerry was a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church in Marshville. In his free time, Jerry enjoyed working around the farm, as well as, gardening. He was known for having a green thumb. Those left to celebrate and remember his life include his loving son, Arthur Charles Anderson of Pageland, South Carolina; sisters, Clarice Thomas of Monroe, North Carolina and Sarah Decker (Bob) of Marshville, North Carolina; four-legged companion, Nosey; also numerous nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, May 6, 2018 at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church with Pastor Mel Winstead officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM on Sunday, May 6, 2018 at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church, 46 Mt. Moriah Church Rd, Marshville, North Carolina 28103.
