Beverlyn had a love for the Blue Ridge Mountains, mountain flowers, and the Elk that roamed the Cherokee area and of course the mountain culture, music and cuisine. She also loved the sea. Beverlyn and her husband of 22 years, Richard, would roam up and down the SC, NC, and GA coast to find new discoveries. They especially enjoyed meeting the local people of each area and visiting produce stands and restaurants, discovering the taste of the sea. Beverlyn loved life and travel, especially their motor home trips across the US was the highlight of their travel. For the past four years, Beverlyn's health continuously declined. When she knew she could no longer take care of Richard and have quality of life, she decided to succumb to her ill health and be under Hospice Care.
