Mrs. Billie Hicks Funderburk, 96, of Pageland, SC went to be with her Lord on Friday, February 4, 2022 while surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Funderburk was born on September 18, 1925 in Pageland, SC to the late James M. Hicks and Fannie Pigg Hicks. She later met and was united in marriage to the late George F. Funderburk. She was a member of Liberty Hill Baptist Church, where she served as a Sunday School Teacher, Treasurer and Historian. She was a Bookkeeper for Tucker Lumber for 30 years. Mrs. Funderburk loved crafts and painting. She was a "jack of all trades, master of none." Billie Funderburk was predeceased by her sisters, Mary Catherine Blakeney, Ada Bernice Brown and Lillian Irene Haselden; son, George Douglas Funderburk (Connie) and grandson, Clay Everett Funderburk. Mrs. Funderburk is survived by her loving son, Frank Funderburk (Judy) of Pageland, SC; brother, James Hicks of Greer, SC; grandchildren, Chad Funderburk (Jennifer) of Rock Hill, SC, Mandy Blanding of Florence, SC and Will Funderburk (Stacey) of Summerville, SC; great grandchildren, Kayla Goude (Alan) of Andrews, SC, Chase Funderburk, Aiden Funderburk and Allie Rae Funderburk all of Rock Hill, SC, Camden Blanding of Florence, SC, Caden Funderburk and Wren Funderburk both of Summerville, SC. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM on Sunday, February 13, 2022 at Liberty Hill Baptist Church in the Fellowship Hall. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, February 13, 2022 at 3:15 PM at Liberty Hill Baptist Church with Pastor Mack Mullis officiating.
