Mr. Billy Ray Brock, Sr., 89, of Lancaster, SC passed away on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 in Heath Springs, SC with his loving family by his side. Mr. Brock was born on May 21, 1933 in Pageland, SC to the late Hermas Frank "Bud" Brock and Sally Pierce Brock. Mr. Brock is a member of Dudley Baptist Church in Pageland, SC. Billy worked for Springs Industries for 38 years. He was a farrier for 40 years and loved to train horses. Mr. Brock loved to fish, work in his garden and go square dancing. He liked to sit on his front porch and watch the traffic go by his house. He never met a stranger and loved animals. Mr. Brock is predeceased by his brothers, Frank Brock, LeRoy Brock, John Brock, Everett Brock, Alvin Brock and two infant brothers and sister, Myrte Bost. Mr. Brock is survived by his sons, Scott Brock (Karen) of Pageland, SC, William Brock (Brenda) of McEwen, TN and Billy Ray Brock, Jr.; daughter, Cheryl Hagins (Wayne) of Lancaster, SC; brother, Wayne Brock (Becky) of Lancaster, SC; sister, Martha Ann Bishop of Lancaster, SC; seven grandchildren, Whitney Brock, Lauren Brock, Jennifer Dobson, Kailey Hagins, Nicholas Brock, Neely Falls and Amanda Brock and eight great grandchildren, Jeffrey Buice, Wyatt Dobson, Ava Dobson, Brayden Brock, Liam Brock, Ansley Falls, Dusty Falls and Tucker Falls. The family will visit with friends following the Graveside Service at Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery in Pageland, SC. A Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, November 13, 2022 at Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery in Pageland, SC with Rev. Dr. Jackie Jenkins officiating. Inurnment will follow in the church cemetery. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Kindred Hospice and Heath Springs Residential Care Center for all of their love and care.
