Bobby James
Faircloth, Sr.
Nov 10, 1935 — Sep 22, 2025
Bobby "Pop" James Faircloth, Sr., 89, of Pageland, SC passed away peacefully on September 22, 2025 in Monroe, NC. He was born on November 10, 1935 in Conway, SC to the late Arthur Davis Faircloth and Ernie Williams Faircloth.
Bobby's early years in Conway were filled with the warmth of a close-knit family, and he carried that sense of togetherness throughout his life. He was predeceased by his wife, Joyce Edwards Faircloth, his adored great-grandson, Jett Myles Wade, his brother, Paul Faircloth, and his sisters, Letha Faircloth and Mildred Wilson. His memory will be forever cherished by his surviving brother, David Faircloth of Monroe.
A devoted father, Bobby's legacy lives on through his children, Bobby Faircloth, Jr. (Paula) of Stallings, NC, Vicki Faircloth Wade (Keith) of Waxhaw, NC, and Chris Faircloth (Randy Griffin) of Pageland, SC. His grandchildren, Jason Wade (Monique), Kayla Griffin (Rodney), Will Faircloth (Melonie), Ryan Wade (Candace), Abby Whitesides (Shawn), Chase Faircloth, and Haley Evans (Baylee), along with his great-grandchildren, Jaxon, Emma, Hunter, Lawson, Brier and Greyson will continue to grow and embody the virtues he instilled in them. His fur baby, Lulu, and numerous nieces and nephews also survive him.
Bobby's interests painted the picture of a man who found joy in the simple pleasures of life. His mornings were often spent in the company of good friends Catfish, Jessie, and Howard, sharing stories and laughter over coffee. A regular at Mickey's and Quincy's, he was a familiar and welcomed face. Thursdays were sacred for his Waffle House visits, a tradition he looked forward to weekly.
An avid fan of NASCAR, Bobby's enthusiasm for the sport was unmistakable, especially when cheering for his favorite driver, Kyle Busch. His love for the mountains was profound, and he found solace in their majesty. Bobby had a fondness for riding his golf cart, a pastime that allowed him to feel the wind on his face and the freedom in his heart. His truck was more than a vehicle; it was a symbol of the adventures and stories that he treasured.
