Mrs. Brenda Sue Knight Moree, 76, of Pageland, SC went to be with her Lord on Friday, August 21, 2020 in Monroe, NC. Mrs. Moree was born on April 13, 1944 in Monroe, NC to the late Charles Ben Knight and Carrie Laney Knight. She later met the love of her life and united in marriage to the late Luther Moree, Jr. Mrs. Moree was a hard working woman that never gave up. She liked to cook and the outdoors, especially fishing and camping. She loved to crochet and work in her gardens. Mrs. Moree was a Christian woman that loved to attend church and sing at church and loved her grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brothers, Jimmy Knight and Charlie "Pete" Ben Knight II; sister, Yvonne McManus, and grandbabies, Lil Tonya and Baby Baker. Mrs. Moree is survived by her sons, Barry Moree (Tonya) of Pageland, SC and Larry Moree (Mavis) of Polkton, NC; daughter, Pamela Baker (Roger) of Jefferson, SC; brothers, Alex Knight and Harry Knight of Rock Hill, SC; sister, Carrie Elizabeth Macdonald of Virginia; grandchildren, Reynaldo Culp, Malasha Moree, Deja Melton (Markee), Gracie Moree, Abbey Moree and Jacob Moree; great grandchildren, Gabriella Heath, Uzziah Seegars and Royal Melton and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 23, 2020 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at Baumgartner Funeral Home. There will be a Celebration of Life Graveside Service on Sunday, August 23, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Greenlawn Memorial Park of Pageland with Pastor Ricky Welch officiating. The burial will follow the services. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
