Mrs. Carol Lowry Axley, 62, of Monroe, NC went to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 25, 2018 while surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Carol Lowry Axley is preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Edith Neal Lowry and her brothers, Tod Lowry and Neal Lowry. Those left to celebrate and remember her life include her loving sons, Neal Axley (Lauren) of Waxhaw, NC and Jamie Axley (Emily) of Charlotte, NC; daughter, Lisa Owens (Chris) of Indian Trail, NC; brother, Tim Lowry (Kim) of Pageland, SC; sisters, Jill Sullivan (Jerry) of Pageland, SC, Gail Scurry (Bill) of Huntersville, NC and Lynn Nicholson (Rex) of Pageland, SC; grandchildren, JohnPaul Patrick Axley, Brody Mitchell Owens, Brock Christopher Owens, Gracie Ann Axley and Marcus James Axley. A Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at White Plains Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Steve Neal officiating. The family will greet friends following the Graveside Service at White Plains Baptist Church in the Fellowship Hall. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Lottie Moon Christmas Offering at a church of one's choice.
