Mrs. Catherine "Cat" Smith Robertson, 87, of Pageland, SC went to be with her Lord on Thursday, December 31, 2020 in Lancaster SC. Mrs. Catherine Robertson was born August 9, 1933 to the late James Osmond Smith and Edna Bell Pigg. She is preceded in death by her husband, Sonny Robertson; sons, Barry Robertson and Timothy Robertson; daughter, Ann Robertson; brothers, George Smith, Carl Smith, Harold Smith, Don Smith, Pap Smith, Neal Smith and Sam Smith and sisters, Mable Webb, Annie Lou Helton and Martha Clark. Mrs. Robertson was a faithful member of Providence Baptist Church, where she enjoyed traveling with the seniors. She and her husband, Sonny owned "Cat and Sonny's Grille". Mrs. Robertson enjoyed cooking and going shopping. Mrs. Catherine Robertson is survived by her special nephew and niece, Chuck Clark (Teresa) of Pageland; sister-in law, Bonnie Smith; special friends, Bonnie Grove, Minnie Lee Evans, Gayle Hill, Bobbie Pigg and Jessie West; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. A Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 2, 2021 at Providence Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Ernest Winburn and Pastor Robert Stamey officiating. Burial will follow at Providence Baptist Church Cemetery. Anyone can come by Baumgartner Funeral Home on Friday, January 1, 2021 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM to sign the register book and pay their respects. Due to the government-mandated, COVID-19 restrictions, we ask that you practice social distancing at all times. The family would like for all attending the service to please wear a face covering.
