Chyna Marie Johnson, 36, of Pageland, South Carolina passed away peacefully on October 17, 2025 at her home under the loving care of her family. She was born on October 5, 1989 in Charlotte, North Carolina to Ellis Phillip Johnson, III and Kelley Renee Gillespie. She is predeceased by her paternal grandparents, Ellis Phillip Johnson, Jr. (Shirley Ann) and her maternal grandparents, Kenneth Gillespie (Marie).

Chyna was the beloved daughter of Kelley Gillespie of Pageland, SC and Ellis Phillip Johnson III of Monroe, NC. She was a cherished stepdaughter to Janna Johnson of Monroe, NC, and a devoted sister to Ellis Phillip Johnson IV of Greenville, NC. Her family was the cornerstone of her life, and she nurtured those relationships with the same care and dedication she showed in every aspect of her life.

A passionate and caring individual, Chyna pursued a career in nursing, driven by her desire to help others and make a difference in the world. Chyna's love for music was profound, and she found joy in strumming her guitar, creating melodies that reflected her innermost feelings. She was an adventurous soul riding motorcycles with a sense of fearlessness and exhilaration. Animals held a special place in Chyna's heart, and she extended her kindness to all creatures, great and small. Her loving nature was evident in the way she cared for her pets and any animal she encountered.
