Mrs. Clara Hayes, 90, of Pageland, SC passed away peacefully on September 5, 2025 while surrounded by her loving family at her side. Clara was born on October 14, 1934 to the late James Cleveland Rollings and Mary Lee Price Rollings.

Clara was a woman whose life was characterized by devotion to her family and her faith. Clara was a cherished member of her community. Her unwavering faith led her at the age of 11 to become an active member of the First Baptist Church of Pageland, where she found great joy in fellowship and service. She found great happiness in spending time with her family, sharing stories and creating memories that will be treasured forever.

Clara's heart was always fullest when she was surrounded by her beloved family. Clara was preceded in death by her loving husband, Boyd who she married in 1955. She is survived by her loving son, Johnny Hayes (Jan) of Pageland, SC. She is preceded in death by her brothers, Sonny Rollings, Johnny Rollings, Billy Rollings and Curt Rollings, and her sisters, Shelby Gainey, Kay Anderson, Imogene Carpenter and Tish Rollins.

A proud grandmother, Clara's legacy includes her grandchildren, Bryan Hayes (Brittany) of Pageland, SC, Daniel Hayes (Shane) of Jefferson, SC and Brittany Hayes of Pageland, SC. Her great grandchildren, Lily, Kate, Chloe, Whitley, Caroline, Kolton and Landon, brought her immeasurable joy and laughter. Clara's role as a grandmother was one she cherished with every fiber of her being, and her guidance and love will continue to shape their lives for the years to come.

A Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at 1:00 PM at

Greenlawn Memorial Park of Pageland with Pastor Teri Schell officiating. The family will greet friends following the Graveside Service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Gentiva (Regency) Hospice, 205 East Main Street, Chesterfield, SC 29709.
