Ms. Cynthia Sweatt Cheek, 70, of Pageland, SC passed away on Monday, November 15, 2021 at her home. Ms. Cheek was born on November 1, 1951 in Lancaster, SC to the late Ernest Leslie Sweatt and Juanita Driver Sweatt. Cynthia enjoyed life and always liked to laugh and dance. She enjoyed going fishing, especially with her grandson. In her spare time, Ms. Cheek enjoyed doing needlework. Cynthia is survived by her sons, Timothy H. Funderburk (Kimberly) of Kershaw, SC and Randy Clinton Funderburk of Pageland, SC; daughter, Tammy Funderburk Wright (Todd Sowell) of Pageland, SC; brothers, E. L. "Sonny" Sweatt" Jr. of McKeys Rocks, PA and William "Billy" Sweatt (Diane) of Lancaster, SC; sisters, Joan Funderburk of Mint Hill, NC and Patricia Grubbs (Bob) of Charlotte, NC; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren. The family will hold a Memorial Service at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the National Humane Society, 40 East Main Street # 364,Newark, DE 19711.
