Mr. Darius Lee Hicks, 78, of Pageland, SC passed away on Thursday, May 13, 2021 in Wilmington, North Carolina surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Hicks is survived by his loving wife, Violet Long Hicks of Pageland, SC; daughters, Karen Hicks West (Joe) of Murrells Inlet, SC and Myra Hicks Vlach (Henry) of Indian Trail, NC; four step daughters; brothers, Dennis Hicks (Pat) and Douglas Hicks (Brenda) both of Pageland, SC; grandson, Jason Vlach of Indian Trail, NC and eighteen step grandchildren. Due to COVID 19, the family asks that everyone that attends the service to please wear a mask and keep in mind social distancing rules. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 PM on Monday, May 17, 2021 at Liberty Hill Baptist Church with Pastor Michael Bassett, Pastor Mack Mullis and Pastor Dewayne Evans officiating. Burial will follow at Liberty Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM on Monday, May 17, 2021 at Liberty Hill Baptist Church Fellowship Hall.
