Mr. David Milton Laney, 85, of Pageland, South Carolina went to be with his Lord on Sunday, December 4, 2016 at his home. Mr. Laney was born on July, 4, 1931 in Hartsville, South Carolina to the late Carl Alexander Laney and Harriet Lancaster Laney. He later met and united in marriage to his late wife Carol S. Laney. He was a retired as an Area Supervisor from Freeway Foods Inc. He was a member of Dudley Baptist Church in Pageland and served as an interim Minister. David loved to watch John Wayne movies and read the Bible. He loved to be around people and spend time with his furry friends, Barney and Pumpkin. Mr. David Milton Laney is survived by Son, David Carl Laney of Statesville, North Carolina, two Daughters, Deborah Oxendine and Teresa Dawn Cady both of Monroe, North Carolina, seven Grandchildren and eight and one-half Great Grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 1:00 PM on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at Providence Baptist Church Family Life Center. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Providence Baptist Church Family Life Center in Pageland, South Carolina with Pastor Jerry Haney officiating.
