Mr. David Pegram, 55, of Pageland, SC passed away on Friday, October 8, 2021 in Monroe, North Carolina. Mr. Pegram was born on October 19, 1965 in Wadesboro, NC to Frances Mauldin Pegram and the late Ralph Neil Pegram. Mr. Pegram attended First Baptist Church of Pageland. He was a laid back and low key type of person that had a good sense of humor and was very giving. In his spare time, he enjoyed cooking, yard work and going to the beach. He liked to collect oriental artwork and loved his animals. He always enjoyed spending time with Mickey's grandchildren. Mr. Pegram is survived by his companion, Robert "Mickey" Leaird of Pageland, SC; mother, Frances Mauldin Pegram of Wadesboro, NC; brother, Neil Pegram (Linda) of Wadesboro, NC and sister, Sandra Pegram of Wadesboro, NC. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM on Sunday, October 10, 2021 in the Sanctuary of First Baptist Church of Pageland and at other times at the Leaird Home Place at 312 South Pine Street, Pageland, South Carolina. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, October 10, 2021 at First Baptist Church of Pageland with Dr. Joel Dale officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park of Pageland. Due to COVID 19, the family asks that everyone that attends the funeral to please wear a mask and keep in mind social distancing rules. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Union County, 700 W. Roosevelt Blvd., Monroe, NC 28110.
