Mrs. Davies Hicks Jordan, 96, of Pageland, SC went to be with her Lord on Saturday, December 21, 2019 while surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Davies Hicks Jordan was born on September 1, 1923 in Pageland, SC to the late Walter Lee Hicks and Annie Pigg Hicks. She is preceded in death by her husband, Howard Jordan; sisters, Barbara Hicks Lowery, Mildred H. Kelly and Mary Ann Funderburk; brothers, Bruce Hicks, Louie Hicks and Carroll Hicks. She was a faithful member of Liberty Hill Baptist Church where she sang in the Choir. She loved to knit and was an avid gardener. She worked for Duke Energy for 32 years. Mrs. Jordan is survived by her son, Jerry Mullis (Kathy) of Mt. Olive, NC; sister, Hilda Outen (Ed) of Charlotte, NC; grandchildren, Scott, Jeff, Anthony and Jamie; many great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 28, 2019 from10:00 - 11:00 AM at Liberty Hill Baptist Church in the Fellowship Hall. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 28, 2019 at Liberty Hill Baptist Church with Pastor Mack Mullis officiating. The burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park of Pageland. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Liberty Hill Baptist Church, PO Box 309, Pageland, SC 29728.
