Dayna Geiger McCray, 46, of Jefferson, South Carolina passed away on Monday, May 13, 2019 while surrounded by her loving family. Dayna was born on June 20, 1972 in Monroe, North Carolina to Jennie Eubanks Geiger and the late Jackie Geiger. She loved her family, especially her daughter. She was an avid Georgia Bulldogs fan. Dayna also enjoyed playing and watching softball. In her spare time, she enjoyed barrel racing. In addition to her father, Dayna is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Daniel T. and Eva Mae Eubanks and paternal grandparents, Richard and Bernice Geiger. Those left to celebrate and remember her life include her loving daughter, Madison Lee Moore of Jefferson, South Carolina; her mother, Jennie Eubanks Geiger of Jefferson, South Carolina; sister, Myra Hancock Leaird of Pageland, South Carolina; nephews, Wesley Charles Johnson of Jefferson, South Carolina and Zachary Lynne Johnson of Pageland, South Carolina; numerous aunt, uncles and cousins and numerous close friends who were very dear to her. A Going Home Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 18, 2019 at Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Tony Pope and Pastor Eric Plyler officiating. Burial will be private at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 18, 2019 at Bethel Baptist Church, 11078 Highway 151, Jefferson, South Carolina 29728 and other times of the home of Myra Leaird, 317 Doss Evans Lane, Pageland, South Carolina 29728. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Baumgartner Funeral Home, C/O Dayna Geiger McCray, PO Box 249, Pageland, SC 29728 to help the family with funeral costs.
