Mrs. Denise Annette Helms, 59, of Jefferson, SC passed away on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Denise Helms was born on July 29, 1961 in Monroe, NC to the late William Joseph Moree and Vera Odessa Rollings Moree. She was predeceased by her brother, Michael "Kojak" Moree and sister, Darlene Anderson. Denise was a member of Solid Rock Baptist Church, where she loved attending and loved her church family dearly. She enjoyed spending time with her family, going to the beach and gardening. Denise was a caring person and enjoyed taking care of others and helping them. Mrs. Helms is survived by her husband of twenty-four years, Dennis Neal Helms of Jefferson, SC; son, Joshua Helms of Jefferson, SC; daughters, Tanya Godwin (Jeremy) of Wingate, NC, Crystal Tadlock (Chad) of Pageland, SC, Michelle Snipes (Ronnie) of Lancaster, SC and Amanda Privette (Collin Smith) of Monroe, NC; brothers, Jeff Moree of Pageland, SC and Chris Moree (Mandee) of Oakboro, NC; grandchildren, Kyle Godwin (Ashley), Amber Godwin (Ryan Purser), Cody Atkinson (Skylar), Zachary Godwin (Skylar Williams), RebekahTadlock, Dalton Jenkins, Owen Tadlock, Olyvia Snipes, Colton Tadlock and great grandchildren, Jacquelin Godwin, Braxton Tyson, and Kolten Godwin. Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 11, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, Pageland, SC. There will be a Celebration of Life Funeral Service held on Sunday, April 11, 2021 at 3:00 PM at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, Pageland, SC with Pastor Roger Nance and Pastor Richard Collins officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mt.
