As the sun worked its way to the horizon to begin a new day, Mr. Dennis Wilson "Bull" Griffin, 77, of Lancaster, SC stepped into glory, with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He was born on December 31, 1943, a son of the late Howard and Vadie Laney Griffin and passed away on Friday, August 6, at his home, surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Griffin was a man known as a "jack of all trades" and worked hard as long as his health permitted. He worked on trucks and traded them out as soon as they were fixed. His favorite past times were loving on his grandchildren and great grandkids, and spending time with his fur babies. He enjoyed cutting his grass and sitting in the swing beneath the pecan tree. Left behind to mourn his loss is his loving wife of 57 years, Mrs. Brenda Massey Griffin; two daughters, Melinda (John) Carnes and Teresa (Lynn) Mills; three sons, Roddy Griffin (Diana), Scott Griffin, and Buddy "BoBo" (Angie) Griffin; grandchildren - Steven, Sue, Rick, Elizabeth, Justin, Noelle, Robbie, Timothy, Olivia, Chris, Jessica; twenty-nine great grandchildren; one brother, Ed (Judy) Griffin; two sisters, Bonnie Hobbs and Wendell Laney; numerous nieces and nephews and his two fur babies, Layla and Little Man. Along with his parents, he is predeceased by a grandson, Jonathon. A Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, August 9, 2021 at Greenlawn Memorial Park of Pageland with Reverend Robin Hewitt officiating. Anyone can come by and sign the register book on Sunday, August 8, 2021 from 1:00 - 4:00 PM at Baumgartner Funeral Home.
