Mr. Dexter Andrew "Curly" Rowell Jr., 81, of Pageland, SC passed away on April 25, 2022 in Monroe, NC. Mr. Rowell was born in March 23, 1941 to the late Dexter Andrew Rowell, Sr. and Ione Lewis Rowell in Pageland, SC. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Pageland. Curley owned a used car dealership and was a truck driver. In his spare time, he loved to drive around town in his antique cars. Mr. Rowell is survived by his brothers, Donald Rowell (Linda) of Pageland, SC and Danny Rowell of Charlottesville, VA; sister, Linda Rowell Sellers of Lancaster, SC; special friend, Shirley Treadaway; his fur baby, precious and car show buddies. A Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Rose Hill Cemetery with Rev. Matt Neisler officiating. The family will meet with friends following the graveside service at the cemetery. The burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery.
