Mr. Donald Dee Grogg, Jr., 66, of Jefferson, SC passed away on Monday, December 26, 2022 at his home while under the care of Hospice and surrounded by his loving family and friends. Mr. Grogg was born on November 18, 1956 in Portland, IN to the late Donald Dee Grogg, Sr. and Janean K Moser Grogg. He served in the US Marines during Vietnam from March 1974 to May 1983. Later in life he met and united in marriage to his beautiful bride, Jennifer Edwards. They decided to leave Wasilla, Alaska and move to Jefferson, SC. Mr. Grogg enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He also looked forward to horseback riding and tinkering with his tractor. He raised poultry and took pride in his gardens. Mr. Grogg is survived by his beautiful bride of 26 years, Jennifer I. Grogg of Jefferson, SC; daughters, Amanda Fay Smith (Hugh) and Jessica Kay Powell both of Palm Bay, FL, Kristen Coughlin (Chris) of Morris Plains, NJ and Erin Hotaling of Troy, NY; son, Robert C. Karlicek of Worchester, MA; eight grandchildren and one great granddaughter; nine brothers and sisters and extended family. Private Cremation arrangements as per family request.
