Mrs. Donna Strawn Abernathy, 62, of Pageland, SC passed away on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at her home. Mrs. Abernathy was born on March 4, 1959 in Suffern, New York to the late Ralph Keith Strawn and Yvonne Evans Strawn. She was preceded in death by her brother Bradley Strawn; sister, Cathy Griffith; and her loyal furbaby Daisy. Mrs. Abernathy grew up in Charlotte, NC, and moved to Pageland SC in 2000. She was a fun loving person with a free spirit, who enjoyed people. Donna enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She had the biggest heart and would do anything for someone who was in need. She loved animals, especially dogs. Mrs. Abernathy is survived by her brother, William Keith Strawn, of Pageland, SC; sister, Teressa Martin of Stanfield, NC; nieces and nephews, Rachel Perry, Justin Hutchins, Kelsie Cullop and Dillon Griffith and four great nephews. The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Sunday, May 23, 2021 at Baumgartner Funeral Home, 708 W. McGregor St., Pageland, SC 29728. There will be a Celebration of Life Funeral Service at 4:00 PM on Sunday, May 23, 2021 at Baumgartner Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tony Clark officiating. Burial will follow at Providence Baptist Church Cemetery.
