Mrs. Donna Helms Brock, 55, of Pageland, SC passed away on Saturday, April 17, 2021 while surrounded by her loving family in Monroe, NC. Donna was born on April 27, 1965 in Monroe, North Carolina. She was a member of Mountain Springs Baptist Church in Monroe, NC where she was a faithful member of the church choir. She also taught the children of the church for over 17 years. Donna worked for the City of Monroe for 20 years. She was kind and compassionate with a heart for everyone. She enjoyed cooking and shopping, and looked forward to spending time with her family. She is preceded in death by her father, Archie Curtis Pope. Mrs. Brock is survived by her husband of 34 years, Barry Brock of the home; mother, Linda Faye Pope of Monroe, NC; brothers, Phillip Pope of Monroe, NC and Joseph Pope of Richmond, VA and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Due to COVID 19, the family asks that everyone that attends the service to please wear a mask and keep in mind social distancing rules. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at 2:00PM on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at Mountain Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Phil McLean and Dr. Ben Pierce officiating. The burial will follow at Griffin Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 - 2:00 PM on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at Mountain Springs Baptist Church.
