Douglas Andrew Portmess, 25, of Jefferson, South Carolina passed away on October 20, 2024, due to an accident in Pageland, South Carolina. He was born on July 22, 1999 in Monroe, North Carolina to Terry Lynn Portmess and the late Henry F. Barber.

Douglas is survived by his devoted mother, Terry Lynn Portmess of Jefferson, SC; his fiancé, Courtney Donahue of Pageland, SC; his beloved children Andrew Portmess and Lillian Portmess both of Pageland, SC; his caring brothers, Bill Barber of Pageland, SC, Darius Williams (Meagan) of Jefferson, SC and Nic Morataya of Pageland, SC and his loving sisters, Christine Black (Joey) and Christa McManus (John) both of Monroe, NC.

An enthusiast of the outdoors, Douglas found joy in riding four-wheelers, racing, and fishing. His passion for cars often found him under the hood, helping friends with their automotive needs. Above all, Douglas was a loving father and a good provider for his family, cherishing every moment spent with his loved ones.
