Mr. Duane Alexander Russell III, 83, of Lancaster, SC passed away on Wednesday, November 15, 2017. Mr. Duane A. Russell III was born on November 14, 1934 in Spartanburg, SC to the late Duane A Russell II and Agnes Marsh Russell. He was a glider pilot for 10 years and loved it. He was a Sergeant in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Mr. Russell is preceded in death by his wife, Gertie Russell and his sister, Betty Godfrey. Those left to celebrate his life are his sons, Geoffrey Russell (Sue) of Lancaster, SC and Todd Russell (Vicki) of Woodland Park, CO and two grandchildren, Brian Russell and Alex Russell of Lancaster, SC.
