Mr. Edward Lee Knight, 68, of Pageland, South Carolina went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at his home. Mr. Knight was born on February 11, 1949 in Monroe, North Carolina to the late Jessie "Pete" Knight and Betty Jenkins (Yarbrough). He later met and united in marriage to Linda Faye Ellis Knight. Mr. Knight worked for Springs Industries for 40 years and Harbour Freight. He loved to go to Flea Markets, target practice and fly model airplanes. During his spare time, he liked to fix air conditioning units, washers, dryers and refrigerators. Besides his parents, Mr. Knight is predeceased by his brother, Eugene Knight. Those left to celebrate and remember his life include his loving wife, Linda Faye Ellis Knight of the home, step son, Jesse James Reeves of Kershaw, SC, sons David Knight and James Knight both of Marshville, NC, brother, Randy Knight (Betty) of Mt. Croghan, SC, three step-grandchildren, Daniel Reeves, Gabe Reeves and Christopher Moree and four grandchildren, David Jeffrey Knight, Brooklyn Knight, Cameron Knight and Christopher Knight. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at Baumgartner Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Henry Leopard officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at the funeral home prior to the service.
