Mrs. Eleanor Scherer, 79, of Pageland, SC passed away on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 in Charlotte, NC. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, January 13, 2013 at Sutton-Baumgartner Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Pageland, SC. Visitation will be from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Saturday, January 12, 2013 at Sutton-Baumgartner Funeral Home. Mrs. Scherer is the daughter of the late Robert and Anna Sieb Sanzo. She was also predeceased by a brother Robert Sanzo Jr. and sisters, Irene Sanzo, Dorathy Sanzo and Thelma Kamin. Survivors include her husband, Robert M. Scherer Sr. of Pageland, SC; son, Robert M. Scherer Jr. (Melissa) of Pageland, SC; daughters, Anna Wambaugh (Richard Sr.) of Van Buren Township, MI, Rebecca Hanlon (Timothy Sr.) of Blythewood, SC, Karen Edwards (Dave) of Columbia, SC; sister, Erma Sevier of Mt. Clemens, MI; grandchildren, Rick Wambaugh Jr., Joe Wambaugh, Eryn Hanlon, Tim Hanlon Jr., Colby Edwards, Kyle Edwards, Bob Outen Jr., Cassie Smith and great grandchildren, Payton Outen, Leo Daniel, Baby Ellie.
