Mrs. Ellen Cleo Funderburk, 99, of Pageland, SC went to be with her Lord on Sunday, July 16, 2023. Mrs. Funderburk was born on December 8, 1923 in Pageland, SC to the late Herman Funderburk and Bessie Laney Funderburk. Mrs. Funderburk was a life time devoted member of Liberty Hill Baptist Church. She enjoyed going to church and traveling with her church family. Mrs. Funderburk loved to talk to her family and friends on the phone. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Franklin Funderburk; brother, Carson Funderburk and sisters, Thelma Nantz and Bonnie Watson. Mrs. Funderburk is survived by her son, Ronnie F. Funderburk (Elaine) of Pageland, SC; grandchildren, Richard Funderburk (Michelle) of Pageland, SC, Rodney Funderburk (Donna) and Rhonda Benefield (Brandon) both of Rock Hill, SC; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. There will be a Celebration of Life Memorial Service at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at Liberty Hill Baptist Church, with Pastor Mack Mullis and Pastor Dewayne Evans officiating.
