Mr. Floyd Eustace Gordon, 87, of Pageland, SC passed away on Saturday, January 2, 2021 in Monroe, NC. Mr. Gordon was born on September 10, 1933 in Pageland, SC to the late Harvey A. Gordon and Anice Williams Gordon. He was an avid NASCAR fan and loved to root for Dale Earnhardt. Mr. Gordon was a member of Union Hill Baptist Church, where he was a former Deacon. He attended USC and was an avid Gamecock fan. Floyd served in the Military Police in the US Army. He was a retired Pharmacist. His children and grandchildren were his world. He is predeceased by his brothers, Ray Gordon and J.T. Hunter and sisters, Lois Kee, Ethel Mae Kee, Alice Carnes and Mary Gordon. Mr. Gordon is survived by his son, Floyd Randall Gordon (Barbie) of Pageland, SC; daughters, Barbara Huskey of Gaffney, SC and Peggy Gail Gordon of Pageland, SC; sister, Faye Griffin of Pageland, SC; niece, Shannon Griffin of Pageland, SC; grandchildren, Jessica Heiser (Paul) of Rock Hill, SC and Dylan Eugene Huskey (Danica) of Gaffney, SC and great grandchildren, Tucker Heiser, Edith Heiser, Josephine Heiser and Baker Reece Huskey. Due to the continued COVID-19 risks, the family respectfully requests no visitors at the home during this time. Anyone is welcome to stop by the funeral home on Monday, January 4, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM to sign the register book and pay their respects. A Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Union Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Tim Williams officiating. Due to the government-mandated, COVID-19 restrictions, we ask that you practice social distancing at all times. The family would like for all attending the service to please wear a face covering.
