Mrs. Frances Deese Kirkley, 84, of Pageland, SC passed away on August 8, 2022 at her home with her family by her side. Mrs. Kirkley was born on November 26, 1937 to the late Robert H. Deese and Geneva Hicks Deese in Pageland, SC. Mrs. Kirkley was a member of High Point Baptist Church where she served on the food committee and always enjoyed working with the kids during bible school. She loved to cook and she enjoyed going to yard sales and auctions. Mrs. Kirkley liked to work in the shop on craft projects and help her husband do anything he might need help with. She was a team player and would assist anyone with anything they needed help with. She is predeceased by her brothers, Sonny Deese and Ray Deese; sisters, Laura Johnson and Rose Nicholson; brother-in-law, Yancy Catoe and sisters-in-law, Frankie Deese and Sara Deese. Mrs. Kirkley is survived by her loving husband of sixty-seven years, Willie R. Kirkley of Pageland, SC; son, Robert Kirkley (Lisa) of Pageland, SC; brother, Johnny Deese of Pageland, SC; sister, Bobbie Catoe of Pageland, SC; granddaughter, Morgan Kirkley and great granddaughter, Raelee Gainey. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, August 11, 2022 at Baumgartner Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, August 12, 2022 at High Point Baptist Church, Pageland, SC 29728 with Pastors Bobby Pegram and Pastor Rodney Nicholson officiating with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
