Mr. George Randy Lee,78, of Jefferson, SC passed away on Saturday, July 22, 2023 at his home. Mr. Lee was born on September 16, 1944 in Charlotte, NC to the late George Theo Lee and Dorothy Clark Lee. Mr. Lee graduated from Jefferson High School and then attended Clemson University. His first job was with Pageland Screen Printers. While working there, Mr. Lee became interested in aviation and his first job in aviation was with Eskridge and Long in Marion, SC. He did crop dusting for several years in the Marion area and then migrated to Florida. Mr. Lee spent the remainder of his aviation career working out of Arcadia, Florida. Mr. Lee is survived by his daughter, Brittany Lee Jones (Trebor) of Lake Mary, FL; brother, William H. Lee (Glenda) of Marshville, NC and granddaughter, Maddie Jones. There will be a Celebration of Life Funeral Service at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, July 26, 2023 at Rocky Creek Presbyterian Church, with Pastor Tommy Sexton, and Pastor Mack Mullis officiating. Burial will follow at Rocky Creek Presbyterian Church Cemetery. The family will greet friends following the service in the church fellowship building. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Rocky Creek Presbyterian Church, 1357 Johnson Road, Jefferson, SC 29718.
