Mr. George Ashley Rogers, 84, of Pageland, SC, passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at Atrium Health Union in Monroe, NC. Mr. George Ashley Rogers was born on July 2, 1936 in Monroe, NC to the late Ashley Rogers and Eula Mangum Rogers. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Virgie Mills Rogers; second wife, Shirley Roberts; son, George Randy Rogers; brother, Alex Rogers; special friends, Ted Herston, Martha Herston, and Sonny Clounch and fur baby, Duke. Mr. George Rogers served his country in the United States Army. He was employed by Strong Haven Containers Company for twenty years. He enjoyed spending time with his family and attending family reunions. Mr. Rogers enjoyed riding his motorcycle and traveling. He would help anyone in need, and was a very generous man. George is survived by his daughter, Paula Burgess (James David) of Florence, AL; grandchildren, Brandy Jordan (Chris), Amelia Jordan (Scott), Shana Bernier (Dan); great grandchildren, Zachary Jordan, Kaleb Jordan, Ariel Jordan, Allie Jordan, Ashton Foreman, and Casey Bernier and special friend, Timothy Plyler.
