Ms. Guynell McCoy Mullis, 89, of Pageland, SC passed away on Monday, April 5, 2021 while surrounded by her loving family. Ms. Mullis was born on February 27, 1932 in Pineville, NC to the late Guy McCoy and Lula Gibson McCoy Faust. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially the grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a homemaker at heart. Ms. Mullis looked forward to decorating wedding cakes for wedding couples. She also enjoyed sewing and crocheting. She was a member of the Rose Memorial Church of the Nazarene. She worked for Conbraco for about 10 years. Ms. Mullis is preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Arthur Lee Mullis, daughter, Brenda Kay Mullis, brothers, Johnny McCoy and Tommy McCoy and sister, Virginia Knight. Ms. Mullis is survived by her daughter, Kathy Cheryl Barrett (Al) of Kershaw, SC; sister, Bobby Cannon of Mooresville, NC; seven grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren. Due to COVID 19, the family asks that everyone that attends the service to please wear a mask and keep in mind social distancing rules. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at 2:00PM Thursday, April 8, 2021 at Rose Memorial Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Scott Gibson officiating. The burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park of Pageland. The family will receive friends from 1:00PM - 2:00 PM Thursday, April 8, 2021 at Rose Memorial Church of the Nazarene.
