Mr. Haron Broadus Funderburk Jr., 94, of Pageland, SC, passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2020 in Cheraw, South Carolina. Mr. Broadus Funderburk was born on November 29, 1925 in Lancaster, South Carolina to the late Haron Broadus Funderburk Sr. and Irene Inez Funderburk. Mr. Funderburk was a long time member of First Baptist Church of Pageland. He served in the US Army during World War II. After 41 years of service, he retired from Lynches River Electric. Mr. Funderburk loved to garden, train beagles and rabbit hunt. He is predeceased by his wife, Lillian Baker Funderburk; brother, C. L. Funderburk and sisters, Gladys Baskins and Laura Jane Riner. Mr. Funderburk is survived by his son, Ronnie Funderburk (Debbie) of Charlotte, NC; granddaughter, Natalie Blanton (Michael) of Indian Trail, NC; great grandchildren, Jackson Blanton, and Jonathan Blanton both of Indian Trail, NC and sisters, Ida Jo Riner of Heath Springs, SC and Sybil Swartz of Buford, SC.
