Ms. Irene L. Price, 77, of Jefferson, SC went to be with her Lord on Friday, March 15, 2013 while under the loving care of her family and Hospice of Chesterfield County. Ms. Irene Price is the daughter of the late Archie and Emma Hancock Brown. She is also predeceased by her husband, J. Heyward Price, brothers, J.C. Brown, Pete Brown, and Bobby Brown, sisters, Helen Brown Jordan and Doris Brown. Ms. Price was an employee of Caro-Knit for many years and also a member of Bethel Baptist Church. Ms. Price is survived by her daughter, Frances Linton (Mickey) of Pageland, SC, son, Donnie Price of Jefferson, SC, grandchildren, Kim Price Douglas of Mt. Croghan, SC, Emily Price Phillips of Hartsville, SC, Mitch Linton of Kershaw, SC, and Brandon Price of Fort Mill, SC, and great grandchildren, Kayden, Kara, Branden, Madison and Carter as well as many loyal lifetime friends and special nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, March 18, 2013 at Bethel Baptist Church. The interment will follow at Jefferson Town Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1-2 PM Monday, March 18, 2013 at Bethel Baptist Church in the Fellowship Hall. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Chesterfield County, PO Box 293, Chesterfield, SC 29709.
