Jack Carson Sistare, a loving husband, father, brother, and grandfather, passed away on Monday October 2, 2023. Jack was born on February 25, 1951, to the late Minor Carson Sistare and Sally Watts Sistare. He is predeceased by his brothers, Troy Sistare and Brown Sistare; sister, Elizabeth Stacks.

He was an incredibly creative individual. As a skilled carpenter, he brought beauty and function into the homes of many. He was admired and respected by his peers for his dedication to his craft. Jack's work was not just a job, but a testament to his love for creating something meaningful and enduring.

A family man to his core, Jack is survived by his wife of 43 years, Catherine H. Sistare of the home, their son, Chad Wright of Augusta GA; daughters, Shannon Knight of Pageland, SC and Laura Wright of Jefferson SC; his brother, Harold Sistare (Becky) of Monroe, NC; sister, Barbara Laney (Vernon) of Tradesville, SC. Jack also leaves behind numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren whom he cherished. His love for his family was unwavering, and he took great pride in their accomplishments. He was a loving grandfather who cherished his role and always had a story to tell, a joke to share or a dollar to share.

Jack was a friendly soul, always ready with a smile and a kind word. He was the kind of person who never met a stranger and always welcomed people into his family. Jack's friends and family will remember him not only for his kindness and love for his wife and family.

While Jack had many interests, his favorite pastime was watching TV with his faithful dog in his lap. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life, like enjoying a glass of tea.

There will be a Celebration of Life Graveside Service at 3:00 PM on Friday, October 6, 2023 at First Baptist Church of Pageland Cemetery with Pastor David Grubbs officiating. Burial will follow at First Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will greet friends following the service.
