Mr. James Thomas Little, 71, of Monroe, NC passed away on Friday, July 9, 2021 at his home in Monroe, NC. Mr. Little was born on May 29, 1950 in Monroe, NC to the late Jacob Thomas Little and Verla Haney Little. He attended Pageland High School and the University of South Carolina. He worked as Plant Engineer at Bloomsburg Mills from September 11, 1978 until the plant closed on May 31, 2009. James loved to read and was an avid bird watcher. He was unable to get out, but he loved to feed the birds and had numerous feeders outside his window so he could watch them. James was a 50-year member of First Baptist Church of Pageland. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Gaddy Little and sister, Carolyn Little Hathaway. James is survived by his loving brother, John Harold Little (Barbara) of Monroe, NC; aunt, Madeline Nixon of Charlotte, NC; nieces, Ginny Atkinson (William) and Libby Hathaway Marsh both of Pageland, SC; nephew, Todd Hathaway of Pageland, SC; very close friend, Daniel Aycock of Cody, Wyoming and numerous cousins. A Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be held at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at First Baptist Church of Pageland Cemetery with Pastor Barry Byrd and Dr. Joel Dale officiating. Burial will follow at the First Baptist Church of Pageland Cemetery. Family will meet with friends following the graveside service at the cemetery.
