James Oscar "Jimmie" Nicholson Jr., 88, of Pageland, SC passed away on Sunday, April 9, 2017. Mr. Nicholson was born on April 16, 1928 in Chesterfield County, SC to the late James Oscar Nicholson Sr. and Sadie Wade Nicholson. He is preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Sutton Nicholson, daughter, Robin Nicholson Collins and daughter-in-law, Sharon Nicholson. He was the owner and operator of Nicholson ABC Store in Pageland. He enjoyed going out to the farm and working with the cows. Mr. Jimmie was a loving father and grandfather. He was an avid Gamecock's fan and was an extremely hard worker. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Pageland. Those left to celebrate and remember his life include his son, Brent Nicholson of Pageland, SC, daughter, Cynthia Nicholson Hinson (William) of Loris, SC, grandchildren, Kristen Collins of Lancaster, SC, James Wade Nicholson of Pageland, SC, Grant Evan Nicholson of Pageland, SC, Brittany Taylor Nicholson of Pageland, SC and David Hinson of Loris, SC and Two great grandchildren, Aiden Hinson and Katelynne Hinson. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at First Baptist Church of Pageland with Dr. Joel Dale officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 - 3:00 PM on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at First Baptist Church of Pageland in the Fellowship Hall.
