Janice Faye
Wade
Jun 12, 1942 — Oct 8, 2025
Janice Faye Wade, 83 of Pageland, South Carolina passed away Wednesday, October 8, 2025 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Janice was born on June 12, 1942 in Teetersville, Kentucky to the late William Lafayette Albright and Frances Hensley Albright.
Janice's early years in Teetersville laid the foundation for a life full of warmth and community. As she grew, so did her love for the simple pleasures in life: the excitement of a good game show, the thrill of a bingo win, and the serene bliss of sunbathing at the beach. Janice's zest for life was evident in her passion for shopping and her impressive collection of shoes, each pair a memory of adventures had and people met.
Her love for the outdoors was not confined to the coast; Janice found equal joy in the tranquility of the mountains. She cherished the times spent with her beloved late niece Darlene, with whom she shared many of life's adventures. Janice's presence at ball games was a testament to her supportive nature, always there to cheer on and celebrate the achievements of those she loved.
Janice's legacy is carried on by her devoted son, Brett Hatmaker of Myrtle Beach, SC, and her loving daughters, Brenda Lefever of Nashville, TN and Dawn Ford (David Smith) of Rock Hill, SC. Her brother, J.D. Albright of Pageland, SC, along with her cherished nephews Jay Dee, Billy, Curtis, Joe, and Jamie, and nieces Deborah Rollins (Ricky "Dic"), Margie Plyler (Jimmy), and Theresa Albright, will hold her memory close to their hearts. Her grandchildren Cody, Austin, Brittany, Jeromy, Krista, and Tanner, as well as her great-grandchildren Avrionna (Cameron Conner), Joshua, and Journey, and great-great-grandchild Rhiannon, will forever be inspired by her love and guidance. Janice also leaves behind great nephews Chase, Grant, and Corey (Kristin), and great nieces Carley and Hillary, who will miss her dearly.
Preceding her in death her daughter, Tina Mullis; her sister, Juanita Smith; brothers, Ancil and Walter Albright; sister-in-law, Carol Albright; brother-in-law, Jim Smith; and her beloved niece, Angie Albright and nephew, Walter Albright, Jr.
