Mr. Jesse "Carroll" Moree, 75, of Pageland, South Carolina passed away on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at his home. Carroll was born on October 9, 1942 in Pageland, South Carolina to the late Walter and Janie Plyler Moree. He later met and united in marriage to Ann Funderburk and the two were married for 58 years. Carroll attended Pageland High School. He worked with Springs Industries for 32 years. He was a member of Union Hill Baptist Church in Pageland. He loved working on his tractors and going to the beach as well as the mountains. In addition to his parents, Carroll is preceded in death by his brothers, JC Moree and Ronnie Moree and a sister, Willie Hicks. He is survived by his wife, Ann Moree of the home; daughters, Lora McManus (David) of Pageland, South Carolina, Donna Green of Heath Springs, South Carolina, and Vickey Williams (David) of Jefferson, South Carolina; grandchildren, Jessica Oxendine, Brandon Little, Matthew Little, Sara McManus, and Daniel Williams; great-grandchildren, Noah Weaver, Chloe Weaver, and Marissa Oxendine; brother, Troy Moree; sisters, Ruth Myers, Ollie Hudson, and Judy Yarborough; also many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, August 30, 2018 at Union Hill Baptist Church with Pastor Robin Hewitt and Pastor Don Rhyne officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at Baumgartner Funeral Home, 708 West McGregor Street, Pageland, South Carolina 29728.
