Mrs. Joan Rhodes Page Joynes, 72, of Jefferson, SC passed away on Thursday, June 10, 2021 in Monroe, NC. Mrs. Joynes was born on December 1, 1948 in Rochelle, Georgia to the late Maude Rhodes and Pauline Bissette Rhodes. She spent her childhood days in Bailey, NC. She worked for Wilson, NC Police Department where she later retired. Joan enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing. She also liked to do stained glass. Joan attended Hornsboro Baptist Church in Pageland, SC. She is preceded in death by her brother, Jimmy Rhodes and sister, Patricia Bray. Mrs. Joan Rhodes Page Joynes is survived by her daughter, Kim Faile (Dean) of Pageland, SC; sisters, Kathy Boykin of Rocky Mount, NC, Gail Parrish of Ormond Beach, FL, Jackie Morgan of Rocky Mount, NC, Linda Anderson (Walter)of Scotland Neck, NC and Sue Phillips (Nelson) of Farmville, NC; grandchildren, Shane Middleton and Joleigh Middleton both of Jefferson, SC and her four legged companion, Cocoa. The family would like to thank her loving neighbors, Jeff and Rochelle Parker for their exceptional care given to her. There will be a Celebration of Life Graveside Service on Sunday, June 13, 2021 at 3:00PM at Greenlawn Memorial Park of Pageland with Pastor David Melton officiating. The family will greet friends following the Graveside Service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hornsboro Baptist Church, PO Box 173, Pageland, SC 29728.
