Joe Edd Thomas, Sr, 88, of Pageland, SC died Sunday, February 28, 2021. Mr. Thomas was born on October 24, 1932 to Atha Nacious and Zelma Ruth Starnes Thomas of Boaz, AL. Mr. Thomas retired from International Mills Service in Cartersville, GA. He was preceded in death by his parents, eight siblings, and his wife of 42 years, Barbara Thomas. Surviving are his daughter, Linnett Thomas Burr of Pageland, SC; son, Joe Edd Thomas Jr. (Kim) of Kennesaw, GA; son, Charles Vincent Thomas of Pageland, SC; daughter, Jane Thomas Rollings (Albert) of Jefferson, SC; stepson, Christian L. Sweigart Jr of Coatesville, PA; stepdaughter, Linda Shank (Donald) of Coatesville, PA; grandchildren, Joe Edd Thomas, III (Tina) of Waleska, GA, Adam Michael Foard (Clare) of Jefferson, SC, Amanda Thomas Finn (Ryan) of Creedmoor, NC, Albert Lynn Rollings, III (Krystal) of Jefferson, SC, Andrew Joseph Rollings (Laura) of Jefferson, SC, Jason Baxter Thomas (Ashley) of Canton, GA, Ethan Thomas Foard (Elese) of Jefferson, SC, Jonathan Chase Thomas (Lindsey) of Myrtle Beach, SC, Charles Vincent Thomas, II of Pageland, SC, Anna Linnett Rollings of Jefferson, SC, Casey Samuel Thomas of Pageland, SC, Carrie Burkham (Jeremy) of Milwaukee, WI and Lili Lara (Tripp) of Swansea, SC; great-grandchildren, Joshua Thomas, Owen Thomas, Riley Finn, Brayden Finn, Decker Finn, Wyatt Foard, Kingston Jackson, Wales Rollings, Seth Rollings, Declan Thomas, Boston Thomas, Augusta Foard, Brewer Thomas, Jude Burkham, and Forest Burkham; sister, Sarah Edmondson of Decatur, GA; sister, Mollie Edmondson of Geraldine, AL; brother, Wayne Thomas of Woodstock, GA; numerous step grandchildren and great-grandchildren and former wife and companion Mary Ann Jenkins of Pageland, SC. A private Celebration of Life Graveside Service and committal will be held at Greenlawn Memorial Park of Pageland.
