Mr. Johnnie E. Jenkins, 73, of Jefferson, SC passed away on Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at his home while surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Johnnie Jenkins was born on January 28, 1947 in Chesterfield, SC to the late John Wilson Jenkins and Clara J. Waters. He was preceded in death by his son, R. Scott Jenkins; sister, Betty J. Byrd and step-father, Paul Waters. Mr. Jenkins owned and operated All Type Equipment and South IV Farms. During the Vietnam War, he served in the US Air Force. Mr. Jenkins was a member of Rocky Creek Presbyterian Church. He was both a Mason and Shriner. Johnnie loved fishing, farming, and spent hours in his shop woodworking. Mr. Jenkins is survived by his wife, Patricia Jenkins of Jefferson, SC; granddaughter, Jessica Jenkins (Chris Freeman) of Jefferson, SC; sisters, Donna Tolson (John) and Vickie Damplier (Bill); brother in-laws, Eddie R. Johnson (Robin) and Tommy A. Johnson (Sheila); favorite sister in-law, Sandra J. Kirkley; numerous nieces and nephews and his beloved dog and companion, George. A Graveside Service will be held on Sunday, July 19, 2020 at 4:00 PM at Rocky Creek Presbyterian Church in Jefferson, SC with Pastor David Sanders officiating.
